Buddy was born on September 1, 1952, in Butuan, Philippines to the late Casiano and Melina (Curilan) Dy. He was a faithful servant of the Lord and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Buddy worked as a sales representative for Hughes Honda for 25 years before retiring. In his free time, Buddy enjoyed bowling, watching his favorite tv shows, animal planet, cooking shows and sports, specifically football and his Georgia Bulldawgs. He also loved to cook for his family and friends, and they enjoyed his cooking.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Eleonor "Nora" (Laserna) Dy of Warner Robins, GA; sons: David Alexander Dy (Erin) of Japan and Derrick Anthony Dy of Sandy Springs, GA; 2 grandchildren: Elena Alexandra Dy and Sebastian Xavier Dy; brothers: Alan Dy and Alfred Dy; sisters: Emma Wiswell, Jane Castaneda(Rolly), Annie Dy, Melba Ng (Alfred), Jocelyn Medina (Cesar) and Sandra Dy-Miguel (Benny); many nieces, nephews and extended family.
With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.

I´m so sorry for the pain the family feels and I will pray for peace for those who will miss him everyday. The one thing I know as a parent; our biggest success in life is the kind of person our kids grow up to be. David praying for you. Your Dad left a great legacy.
