Alexandra Cabrera

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Alexandra Cabrera, who left us on Friday, September 20th, 2024. Alexandra was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose warmth touched many lives. She resided in Hartford, CT, yet her journey began in Brooklyn, New York, where she was born on Wednesday, March 10th, 1982.
Alexandra dedicated herself to her community and family, bringing joy and kindness wherever she went. She worked as a Library Assistant, a role that allowed her to share her love for literature and learning with countless individuals.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carlos, and her three beautiful children: daughter Kayla, son Tristian, and daughter Mia Rose. Alexandra's family was the cornerstone of her life. She also leaves behind her parents, Alejandro Zuniga and Carmen Caban, who nurtured and guided her throughout her life. Her siblings, Noemi, Josefina, and Alejandro, also mourn the loss of their cherished sister. Alexandra's legacy continues through her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who admired and loved her dearly.
A celebration of Alexandra's life will be held at the Greater Harvest Church Ministry, located at 8 Concord St. in New Britain. The primary event is scheduled for Friday, September 27th, from 10 AM to 12 PM. This will be a time for all who knew her to gather, share memories, and find solace in the strength of community.
Alexandra Cabrera's spirit, compassion, and dedication to her family and profession will be profoundly missed but never forgotten. May her soul rest in peace and her memory continue to inspire us all.
