Alfred Lloyd Pope, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Louella M. Pope; cherished son of the late Oscar Clarence and Susie Mae Pope; devoted father of Sharon D. (John) Wood; loving grandfather of Daniel (Kristen) Wood and Rebecka (Victor Wolff) Wood; treasured great grandfather of Lola, Emerson, and Willow; brother-in-law of Fred Beck; dear brother of seven siblings who preceded him in death, Marcella, Issac, Kathleen, Oscar C. II, Gene, Walter, and Delphard. Alfred was a beloved uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Alfred was a devout member and former Elder and Deacon of the Overland Church of Christ in Overland, MO. A 1952 graduate of Clover Bend High School in Arkansas and a graduate of Lindenwood University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, he was a man of faith, dedication, and perseverance. Alfred was a loving husband to Louella for 68 wonderful years, since their marriage on June 29, 1957. Alfred and Louella owned A.L.P. Realtors for over 20 years. He had a passion for classic cars, was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, and most importantly, was a devoted family man. Alfred was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Alfred's name to Overland Church of Christ.
