Alfred was a dedicated Certified Public Accountant and served as the Treasurer for the Southeastern Synod, a role he embraced with passion and commitment. He loved numbers and brought precision to everything he did. But beyond his professional life, Alfred was a man of many interests. He had a genuine love for reading, especially about the Civil War, and he treasured his adventures traveling to new places, creating stories and memories to share with his loved ones.

He is survived by his two sons, Thomas Roach (Melissa), and David Roach (Eva); and his cherished grandchildren, Thomas Roach (Giselle), Katherine Roach, Matthew Roach and David Roach. Each of them carries a piece of Alfred's spirit and wisdom and will remember him fondly.
Alfred proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, a testament to his dedication and love for his country. He will be missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.
