It is with great love and cherished memories that we celebrate the life of Alfredo Jesus Gorrochotegui, who passed away peacefully on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on September 6, 1938, in Venezuela, to the late Alfredo Gorrochotegui and Maria Acosta, Alfredo lived a life filled with purpose, passion, and devotion to his family and community.

Alfredo was a proud husband to his beloved wife, Isabel, with whom he shared a remarkable 62 years of marriage. He is survived by his devoted children, Alfredo Antonio, Maria Isabel and Maria Jose and his cherished grandchildren, Alessandro and Gabriele, who will forever carry his spirit and values forward.

Alfredo dedicated his career to construction of affordable housing as a talented engineer, and later as a professor in higher education contributing to the growth and betterment of many lives through his expertise and enthusiasm. His passion for learning was only rivaled by his love for baseball and an ardent interest in politics, which inspired many lively discussions and reflections.

A visitation will be held in his honor on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory, beginning at 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to come together to share stories and celebrate the extraordinary life that Alfredo lived.
