Alger Joseph Odien, III of Dayton, TN, passed away October 11, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born August 19, 1962, in Garden City, Michigan to the late Alger Odien, II and Darlene Webb.
Alger leaves behind his wife, Deborah; children, Jessica, Jackie, Jonelle and Shane Odien, Crystal and Roby Patton, Carla Angel; brothers, Jimmy (Connie) Odien of Michigan; sisters Jeanette (Marcy) Odien of Missouri, Johnell (Sean Haugh) and Dawndrea Heiber also of Missouri. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Odien. Special "brothers" from his Marine days Mike, Steve and Kevin. Also, dear friends Al and Nancy Clarke.
Alger enjoyed Michigan football, Formual 1 and Indy racing and working with his hands.
In honor of his military service in both the US Navy and USMC, which totaled 22 years, Alger will be laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
