Alice M. Holewinski of Gibsonburg, OH formerly of Tiffin, OH and Toledo, passed away on June 21, 2025 at Bellevue Hospital. She was born on May 25, 1937 in Fremont, OH to Walter and Gertrude (Bierly) Weickert. She was a 1955 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. On December 10, 1960 she married F. James Holewinski in Fremont, and he preceded her in death in June 1988.
Alice was a title Clerk for many years at Rose Motor Sales. She was also a substitute teacher for local Toledo Schools. She enjoyed gardening and reading.
Alice is survived by her children, Michael (Jill) Holewinski, of Tiffin, OH, Susan (Thomas) Nichols, of Toledo, OH, and Lisa Holewinski, of Mansfield, OH; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, F. James Holewinski; siblings, Rosie Stout and Bud Weickert.
Alice’s wishes were to be cremated, and private services will be held for the family.
Memorials can be made in her honor to The Humane Society of Sandusky County or to Donors Choice.
