Alice Isadore Javine, 81, of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away Monday evening, June 9, 2025, at Emerald Care Center of Claremore.
Alice was born January 22, 1944, in Atoka, Oklahoma to Elijah Hendrix and Emma Deloris (Johnson) Hendrix.
She married Howard Taft Javine, Jr. on December 23,1962, at Barnsdall, OK. The couple made their home in Barnsdall, Avant, Bald Hill and Copan, Oklahoma, before moving to rural Claremore in 1993. Mr. Javine preceded his wife in death on November 17, 2023.
Alice was a CMA in the healthcare industry, serving 30 years or more with Coweta Manor & Gatesway Foundation.
She is survived by two sons, Christopher Javine of Claremore, and Mark Javine and his wife, Allison of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one daughter-in-law, Melissa Basks and husband (Mark) of Claremore; seven grandchildren, Megan Campbell and husband, Chris of Coweta, Oklahoma, Christopher Lee Foster and wife, Tara of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Geoffrey Kyle Javine and wife, Robbi of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Patrick Stewart Javine and wife, Summer of Tulsa, Rylan Alexander Javine, Michael Alexander Javine and Marlissa Dawn Basks, all of Claremore, as well as 12 greatgrandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 10am, Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the graveside in Javine Cemetery, north of Barnsdall, Oklahoma with Rev. Randy Little officiating.
