Alivia D. Miller, 22, of Saint Clair, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Saint Louis University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Alivia Denise Miller was born on February 18, 2003, in Saint Louis, to Tim and Heather Miller. She grew up in the community of Saint Clair, attended Saint Clair High School and graduating in the class of 2021. Alivia was a vibrant soul, whose presence was a source of joy and comfort to all who knew her.
From a young age, Alivia demonstrated a strong work ethic and an ambitious spirit. At just 15, she began her journey in the restaurant industry at the Lewis Cafe. Her career spanned various establishments in Saint Clair, including Bootheel BBQ, The Landing, and most recently, The Hangout. Alivia was not only a dedicated waitress but also took on the challenges of working as a laborer for ELS, where she even mastered operating a bobcat. Her colleagues and customers will remember her as the bubbly, welcoming face of each restaurant, always charming and excelling in her roles.
Alivia had a passion for fashion, often shopping and thrifting for the latest trends in clothes and shoes. Alivia also cherished the outdoors, creating lasting memories with her sisters catching crawdads as children in nearby creek.
Alivia had memorable trips to Las Vegas, Tennessee, Florida, and Colorado. These adventures were not only about the places she visited but also about the people she traveled with along the way. Alivia was a lover of people, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer whatever she had, from clothes to cash, to those in need. Her generous spirit and zest for life were evident in everything she did.
Known for her big sense of humor, Alivia never met a stranger and had a special talent for making everyone feel like a friend. Her infectious laughter and love for hugs earned her the endearing nicknames "LouLou," "Livey," and "LiviLou." She lived her life "ninety to nothing," always on the go and bringing light and laughter to those around her. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
Alivia is survived by her loving parents, Tim and Heather Miller of Saint Clair, Missouri; her 4 siblings: Katelynn Stafford of Saint Clair, MO, Timmy Miller of Saint Clair, Shayna Miller and fiancé Aaron Dean of Desoto, MO, Hanna Miller and fiancé Brandon Nelson of Herculaneum, MO; her grandparents: Tom and Marilyn Kiefer of Saint Clair, MO, Tim and Tina Miller of Sullivan, MO, and Doris Grimes of Potosi, MO; two great – grandmothers, Shirley Rissie and Joyce Meyers; her three beloved nieces, Willow, Waylynn and Wrynley; aunts, uncles, many cousins, and countless friends; and her pups: Harper, Zeus, and Nevaeh.
She was preceded in death by her great – grandparents, Ed and Margaret Miller; and her grandmother, Shirley Whittaker.
