Allan Lenzing Jr., a devoted father and an esteemed member of the community, passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 72 in O'Fallon, Missouri. Born on March 23, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri, he lived a life marked by dedication, loyalty, and love.
Allan was a District 9 Union Machinist and spent most of his career with McHenry Trucking Company. He worked diligently until his retirement, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Allan proudly served in the United States Army, a testament to his strong character and sense of duty.
Known for his strong and loyal nature, Allan was a true friend to many and a loving father. He cherished his family, especially his sons. Allan is survived by his son, Lee (Tanya) Lenzing, and took great pride in his four grandchildren: Elijah Lenzing, Brooke Stone, Tyler Noltkamper, and Hannah Noltkamper. He was also a supportive brother to his siblings, Sharon Sarakas and Laura (George) Booser, and a nurturing uncle to his nephew, Timothy Sarakas.
Allan had a passion for life that was evident in his love for boating and spending time on the water. Those who knew him will remember his adventurous spirit, his laughter, and the warmth he brought into their lives. He was preceded in death by his father, Allan Lenzing Sr., his mother, Doris Lenzing, and his beloved son, Scott Lenzing.
A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri, on March 8, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
In this difficult time, Allan's family finds comfort in the cherished memories they hold dear. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, kindness, and the love of family that will forever remain in their hearts.
