Mr. Allan Wright Rue

Allan Wright Rue, age 45, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2025 in the chapel of Aldridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Rev. Bryan Myers will officiate the service. The family will greet friends Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home chapel. Honorary pallbearers include the following gentlemen; Tripp Grace, Bill Williams, Dan Williams, David Stinchcum, and Ben Carey.
Allan Wright Rue was born May 24, 1980 in Brunswick, Georgia. He was the son of the late Robert Wright Rue and Terri Stembridge Barry. He graduated high school from Southland Academy and attended Georgia Southwestern and South Georgia Technical School. He was employed with Cooper Lighting in Americus. Allan was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan; he enjoyed cooking and spending time in the outdoors. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Terri Stembridge Barry and Bobby Alan Barry of Americus. A sister and brother-in-law, Cassie Spradley (Jordan) of Columbus; his maternal grandmother, Sarah D. Stembridge and his paternal grandmother, Carol Bass. Allan is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his father, Allan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frazier Stembridge and Paternal grandfather, Jimmie Bass and Paternal grandparents, Bobby D. Barry and Trisha Barry.
The family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Isaiah House 1242 Old Hwy 5 South Ellijay, GA 30540.
