Allan Shauver, age 76, a resident of Portland, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Allan was born February 6, 1949, in Portland, Indiana, the son of Marion Edward and Leah Margaret (Ashley) Shauver. He graduated from Madison Township High School in 1967 and proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Forrestal. He attended Evangelical Methodist Church in Portland. Allan married Kathy Shull on May 30, 1969.

His wife of 56 years: Kathy Shauver – Portland, Indiana
His children: Michael Shauver (wife Tricia) – Portland, Indiana
Matthew Shauver (wife Christy) – Portland, Indiana
His siblings: Robert Shauver (wife Liz) – New Castle, Indiana
Janet Goad (husband Brad) – Muncie, Indiana
5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild
He was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Linda Valentine, Judy Franks and Nancy Arnold.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 from 1-2 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Pastor Steve Arnold will officiate and burial will follow at Weimer Cemetery, east of Deerfield.
Memorials may be directed towards Evangelical Methodist Church of Portland.
