Oneida
Allan J. Stott, 77, of Oneida, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at home.
He was born on July 29, 1948 in Salina, KS, a son of the late James and Anne (Dackowsky) Stott. Allan graduated the class of 1966 from Sauquoit Valley Central School and then he proudly served his country in the US Army from 1968-1971. He was employed as an inside salesman for Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation selling factory automation equipment.
Allan had a love of the American Bald Eagle, from pictures to sculptures. He also collected Military baseball caps and Schultz & Dooley mugs.
Surviving are his sister, Kathy Dobrzenski; granddaughter, Annie Dixon-Dahl; great grandsons, Asher James and Colson Michael; nephew, John Michaels and his son, Damien; niece, Lisa Bennett and her daughters, Anna and Tori and aunts, Olga Dackowsky and Catherine Lenard. He was predeceased by a brother, Michael.
Allan's family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Andrew Milone for his wonderful care and compassion.
Graveside services will be in the spring at St. Peter's & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Whitesboro. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral Home, 3022 Oneida St., Sauquoit.
Remembrances in Allan's name may be made to a Veteran's charity of their choice.
