Allen was born on June 22, 1955 in Chicago, IL to Eleanor Sanders and R.B. Sheegog, Sr. Allen was an US Army Veteran. He married the love of his life, Shanna Alston in Peoria, IL in 2018.
Allen worked at Caterpillar, Inc., as a materials handler. He was a hard-working man. He loved his wife and was a great provider for his family. Allen enjoyed fishing and loved to dance.
Allen leaves to cherish his most precious memory, his wife, Shanna Sheegog of Peoria, IL; two sons, Kendrick Johnson and Devante Diggins both of Peoria, IL; four daughters, Marilyn Sheegog of Tunica, MS, Jossalyn Saba of Hammond, IN, Shantarius (Marquise) Morris and Kendra Alston both of Peoria, IL; one brother, R.B. (Brenda) Sheegog, Jr. of Hampton, VA; two sisters, Carolyn Swanigan of Lithonia, GA and Sandra Sheegog of Chicago, IL; 15 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents; four sisters and two brothers.
Per Allen's request, no services will be rendered and cremation rites accorded.
