She was born on August 27, 1964, in Praxedis Guerrero, Chihuahua, Mexico to Maria Luisa and Lazaro Gonzalez. Alma's warm-hearted nature and unwavering dedication to her family and community will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
Alma was a remarkable woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She shared an unbreakable bond with her family and delighted in spending time with her children and grandchildren. Known for her kind heart and generosity, Alma would always go out of her way to help others whenever she could. Her passion for travel led her on countless adventures, creating lasting memories along the way.
A devout follower of the church, Alma found solace and strength in her faith. Alma's spirituality guided her actions and instilled in her a deep sense of compassion for those around her.
In addition to her love for family and faith, Alma had a special place in her heart for animals. Her pets brought immeasurable joy into her life, providing companionship and unconditional love.
Alma Rosa Nanez leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on through her cherished memories. She is survived by her sons Ernesto Legaspy and Andrew Nanez Jr., daughter Melissa Nanez; parents Maria Luisa and Lazaro Gonzalez; brothers Luis, and Manuel; sisters Griselda, Pilar, Soccoro, Mariaim, Delia; four grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A visitation service to honor Alma's life will take place at Griffin Funeral Home located at 401 N Dalmont St, Hobbs, NM 88240 on December 20, 2023. The visitation will start at 5:00 PM and conclude at 8:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Alma's remarkable journey and share their love and support during this time of grieving.
Alma Rosa Nanez will be remembered as a loving mother, devoted homemaker, and a compassionate soul who touched the lives of many. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of kindness and selflessness that will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to have known her. May her gentle spirit rest in eternal peace.
