Lee Funeral Home - ClintonAlvin Edler, born on March 4, 1946, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025, in Washington, DC. He was a cherished member of his community, known for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit.
Alvin’s life was marked by his dedication to those around him. His infectious smile and hearty laughter brightened the days of everyone he encountered. Throughout his years, he fostered lasting friendships and touched the hearts of many.
Family, friends, and all who knew Alvin are invited to celebrate his life and legacy. A visitation will be held on September 5, 2025, at Mt. Ennon Baptist Church, located at 9832 Piscataway Rd, Clinton, MD 20735, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same location, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM.
After the funeral service, Alvin will be laid to rest in a burial ceremony at Resurrection Cemetery, located at 8000 Woodyard Rd, Clinton, MD 20735, starting at 1:00 PM and lasting until 2:00 PM.
Alvin’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
