Alvin Moore Obituary
Alvin enjoyed many things in life, he enjoyed hunting for squirrels and deer, fishing, woodworking and cooking, as well as country music. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and could often time be found cracking jokes with them.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessie Smith; son, Alvin Rayford Moore; stepson, Thomas Alvin Kimble; stepdaughter, Louise Marie Janeaux and husband, Donald; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and sisters, Connie Armstrong and Bessie Slape.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy Louise; sister, Donna Sue Winston; and brother, Thomas Gene Moore.
A gathering of Mr. Moore's family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 09, 2025, at Broussard's 505 North 12 Street, Nederland. His interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
