Alvin Savage, Jr. Obituary
Alvin Green Savage Jr., age 63, of Dublin, passed away on February 17, 2024, in Dublin, Georgia.
He was born on September 30, 1960, to the late Alvin Green Savage Sr. and Margaret Newsome Lumley.
Alvin was retired from Strange Rentals. He attended the Church of Jesus Christ, loved spreading the word of Jesus Christ, and lived by the verse Acts 2:38 (The Plan of Salvation). Mr. Savage was an avid GA Bulldog Fan.
He is survived by his children, Aaron Savage, Brent Savage, and Katie Savage Quintana (David) all of East Dublin, GA; grandchildren, Bryli Savage and Mason Savage; sister, Lisa Toler (Monty); brother, Raymond C. Savage; several nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Judy Savage.
A funeral service celebrating the life of Mr. Savage will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Derak Ranke will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Pastor Baron Powell, Ricky Ussery, Elder Larry Williams, Vince Perry, Elder Phillip Smith, Barry Boone.
