I remember meeting Alyssa at 7th grade orientation. She was there with her mom and grandparents. We remained close until she moved to Abilene and we lost touch for awhile. One of my favorite memories of her was watching the movie Friday on VHS and her house. We watched that movie rumors times and laughed like it was the first time seeing it each time When you move to a new town in middle school, you need a friend Alyssa was my friend. Thinking about my school years, I cannot help but think of how much fun I had with Alyssa, as I always called her. She was beautiful, fun and funny. When I was going through, she never judge me. She always encourage me and I will never forget that.We reconnected in our mid 30s and it was like we picked up where we had left off. You will be missed friend, love you
