Brenda Joyce (Haynes) Click passed away Wednesday, July 30th, 2025 at Hendrick Hospice Care, Abilene, Texas.
Brenda was born in Lawn, TX to Grady and Nina Mae Haynes on May 14, 1941. She attended Abilene High School. She married Valton Click on November 10, 2001 at Elmdale Baptist Church in Abilene, TX.
She worked at Timex and retired from Crown Cork and Seal after 20 years of service. She loved spending time at the family farm in Novice, TX and traveling (especially the time spent on cruises and cooler days in Ruidosa, NM). Most of all she loved her family, and cherished every moment with them. She was a very selfless person, always worrying and thinking about everyone else.
Brenda is proceeded in death by her father; Grady Haynes and mother Nina Mae (Tunnell) Haynes, her sisters Sylvia Doris Poindexter and Geneva Bromley, brother Kenneth Haynes, brother-in-law Alan Bromley and stepson Jeff Click.
Left to cherish her memory are husband, Valton Click, son Johnny Ray Thomas (Laurinda), daughter Tammy Hutchings (Craig), grandchildren Trey Hutchings (Brynn), Jason Hutchings, great granddaughter Yasmin and her mother Natalie Ratzabi and several nieces and nephews. She was also a loving stepmother to Terry Click (Denise), Tony Click (Laura), Vickie Osborne (David). Grandchildren Lance Click, Ashley Thibodeaux (Chad), Nichole Cogswell (Todd), Kevin Click, Kyle Click (Bethany), Chris Coffman (Kelly), Aaron Coffman and Jason Coffman. Great grandchildren Ella, Sage, Archer, Sutton, Juniper, Cassie, Brenna, Kari, Katie, Christian, Emily, Courtney, Danielle and Shawn.
Services will be held on August 9, 2025 at Victory Baptist Church located at 4810 Jarman Rd. in Abilene, TX at 10:00 AM. The family will hold a private graveside service to follow in Lawn, TX.
The family would like to thank the many caring nurses at Hendrick Hospital, to the very special care received from Brittney and Kiera at Enhabit Home Health and the very loving, kind and compassionate care received at Hendrick Hospice.
