Alyssa Jean MacKinnon, age 30, of Dedham, Massachusetts was taken too soon August 2, 2024.
Alyssa’s radiant smile, contagious laughter, and joy for life will be missed by all. Her immeasurable love and friendship will forever be remembered.
Alyssa was a beloved daughter and entire world to her mother Jean MacKinnon and father Hugh Mellor II of Westwood MA.
Longtime partner and love to Matt Jenness of New Haven, CT.
Puppy mother to her baby Luci.
Caring sister to Jennifer Spellman (husband Dan) of Medfield, Hugh Mellor (wife Camilla) of Boston, Katharine Fader (husband Randy) of Walpole, Andrew Mellor of Boston, and Jonathan Mellor (wife Katie) of Weymouth.
Devoted niece to Jack MacKinnon (wife Joyce) of Easton, Rick MacKinnon of Boston, Ann Marie Kidd (husband Frank) of Boston, Elizabeth Stow of Franklin, Claire Seamans (husband John) of Hanson, Mary Mortali (husband Jon) of Walpole, Edward MacKinnon of W. Bridgewater, Michael MacKinnon (wife Tracey) of Marshfield, Bob MacKinnon (wife Nancy) of N. Las Vegas NV, Kathleen McCarthy of Marshfield.
Loving cousin and cherished aunt to many who were lucky enough to call her family.
All will miss Alyssa’s beautifully bright presence and remember her spirit forever.
Pre-deceased by grandparents Ann and Jack MacKinnon, and uncles Peter, James and Paul MacKinnon.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Alyssa's Life Celebration on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home, 48 Common Street, Walpole. A prayer service will follow at 12:00 pm. Interment will take place privately. Immediately following the prayer service, all are invited to the Beacon Restaurant, 85 Providence Highway (Route 1 south), East Walpole to continue celebrating Alyssa's beautiful life.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Alyssa’s memory to a charity of choice.
