Amanda Kinross Canale

Formerly of O'Hara Township, on Friday, March 23,2022, after a hard fought battle with cancer, Amanda was the beloved wife of Matthew Canale; daughter of Richard Kinross and Sandy Szafranski; sister of Mark Szafranski (Larissa), Sara Deutchbauer (Eric) and Denise Mills (Kevin) ; aunt of Luca and Liza Szafranski, Natalie and Eli Deutchbauer, Delaney and Owen Mills.
Amanda was a record-breaking Sprinter for the track team at Fox Chapel High School. She set records in the 100- and 200-meter dashes as well as the 100 meter and 200-meter relays. Amanda played the flute and piccolo in the Fox Chapel Band. She graduated from Penn State with a creative writing degree. Amanda was in many theatre productions at Penn State.
Amanda worked for Apple Corp as well as Amazon Web Services where she was a manager. She enjoyed traveling across America and throughout the world. Amanda loved her feral kitty family at the Amazon facility where she worked.
Celebrate Amanda's life with her family on Sunday from 2-6 PM at the Perman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 923 Saxonburg Blvd., Shaler Twp. A Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 11 AM at Christ our Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum, Ross Township.
