It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Amanda Lynn Genther, who unexpectedly passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at the age of 40. A beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and grandma, Amanda was a very outgoing, and caring person who was loved by her family and friends.
Born on November 2,1984, in Kenosha, WI, to the parents of Jane Sanchez and the late David A. Genther, Amanda, brought joy and laughter to those around her from a young age. Her dedication to family and close friends left an indelible mark touching the lives of many. Amanda enjoyed being a grandma, and spending time with her grandson Zyon. She also loved going to visit her family and friends in Kenosha, WI. Amanda loved working at Massage Heights, where she worked for the past three years.
Amanda is survived by her son, Derrick D. Daniel of San Antonio, TX, her daughter, Destiny D. Daniel of Kenosha, WI, grandson Zyon D. Daniel of San Antonio, TX, mother, Jane Sanchez of San Antonio, TX, and her two brothers, Rickey R. Sauceda of Bemidji, MN, and Martin Sauceda (Krista Sauceda) of Ft. Worth, TX.
Amanda was preceded in death by her father, David A. Genther, stepfather, Arturo Sanchez, sister, Donna R. Sauceda, and Grandmother, Margarita Avila, and Samuel R. Avila. Though her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, her spirit will endure in the hearts of those who loved her.
A celebration of Amanda's life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels - 14315 Judson Rd. San Antonio, TX 78233, from 1pm – 4pm, where family and friends may gather to share stories and honor her memory.
The family would like to thank everyone for all their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
