Amanda Marie Noonkester

Noonkester (Hoops), Amanda M., age 39, of Eden Prairie, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love, after a 2-year battle with osteosarcoma on Oct. 5th, 2023. Born Feb. 29th, 1984 in Waconia, MN she attended school in Waconia, graduating class of 2002. Amanda graduated as a devoted R.N. dedicating her life to caring for others. She worked for Park Nicollet Clinic (Chan.) and Methodist Hospital. She had a love for running, completing Grandma's Marathon in 2016 with a time of 5hrs, 27min, 37sec. More than anything, she loved spending time with her daughter. She was the light of her life. During her battle she continued to grow and strengthen her faith. She is survived by husband Chris; daughter Vivian; parents Wayne and Katie; sister, Shona; brother Roy (Chenelle); grandma Elvera (GG); nephews, Christian and Ethan; nieces, Elliah, Briellah and Victoriah; along with many other family and forever friends. Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday (10/12) at Huber Funeral Home, 16394 Glory Lane, Eden Prairie, prayer service at 7:30 PM and Nightingale Tribute to follow. Funeral Service 11 AM Friday (10/13) at Trinity Lutheran Church, 601 E. 2nd Street Waconia with visitation starting at 10 AM. Interment at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Waconia.
