"And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity." - Colossians 3:14

On Tuesday morning, November 18, 2025, at Magnolia Hospital in Corinth, Mississippi, our beloved wife, loving mother, precious daughter, dear sister, and true friend to so many, Amanda Kay "Mandy" Sticklin, known as Mandy to all that loved her, entered into her Heavenly Home and into the arms of her Savior, with family by her side.

Funeral services honoring this precious woman will be held at 2 PM Friday, November 21, 2025, in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home, with visitation from 11 AM until time of service. Bro. John Moore will officiate, and burial will follow in Westminster Presbyterian Church Cemetery with an immediate family graveside service.

Born in Memphis, Tennessee, on July 23, 1980, Mandy was the cherished only daughter of John Howard McElwain Jr. and Barbara N. Wilbanks McElwain. She began her education at Falkner Elementary, before transitioning to and graduating from Ripley High School and attending Blue Mountain College.

Known throughout the community for her warm smile and gentle personality, Mandy made a lasting impact during her years working in the Walmart Pharmacy in Ripley. Whether she offered a simple "How are you?", a kind word, or a friendly smile, she had a genuine way of touching lives and brightening someone's day.

On April 8, 2023, she married her beloved husband, Danny Stricklin, and together they found joy in each other's company. Of all the roles she embraced, Mandy especially delighted in being a devoted wife, loving mother, and, most dear to her heart, a proud Mimi to her adored grandchildren. A Christian, Mandy and Danny enjoyed attending Concord Baptist Church, worshiping and fellowshipping with a congregation they came to love.

Mandy's greatest joy was often found in her home and the people who filled it. Mandy had a special way of opening her doors wide and making every person-family, friend, or newcomer-feel welcomed, valued, and genuinely at ease. She loved hosting parties and holiday gatherings, decorating to the nines, and creating an atmosphere where laughter flowed, memories were made, and no one ever felt like a stranger. She also loved to cook, and feed the people she cared most about, with her homemade macaroni and cheese becoming a fast favorite at every gathering. Mandy believed a home wasn't defined by its walls but by the love within them-and she filled hers with enough warmth and kindness to spill into every life she touched.

Those who were blessed to have known "Mandy" will forever remember her for the way she made others feel-cared for, important, and deeply loved. She loved people with her whole heart, and the truth is simple: if someone didn't love Mandy, it was more than likely their fault-because she was truly one of the most easy-to-love souls anyone could ever meet.

While the world is certainly dimmer without her bright personality, sweet smile, and loving soul, we find comfort in knowing she has been fully healed and is now resting in the eternal peace of Heaven. Her legacy is stitched into the hearts of countless family members and friends who were shaped by her kindness, her compassion, and her gift of making every person feel seen.

In addition to her parents, Mr. John and Mrs. Barbara, and her husband, Mr. Danny, memories will continue to be cherished by two daughters, Sara Cartwright, and Kate Hall Parks (Austin), one son, Carson Hall (Shannon), two stepsons, Jacob T. Stricklin (Chloe), and Ben Adamson (Penny), two brothers, John McElwain (Patti), and Todd McElwain (Robyn), five grandchildren, Wes, Rayne, Lennie, Cade, and Reid, along with two on the way, and an abundance of friends and family whose lives were brightened by her.

Those honored to serve pallbearers will be John McElwain, Todd McElwain, James Michael Bellew, Colton Morrison, Collin McElwain, and Jake McElwain, along with honorary pallbearers being Ben Adamson, Jacob Stricklin, Ethan McElwain, and Jax Taylor.
