Our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Amanda was just 48.
Amanda was born October 12, 1976, in Bay City, Michigan, the daughter of Dennis and Pamela (Morrison) Travis. She was a loving mother and grandmother whose greatest joy came from her family. Amanda cherished her time with her grandchildren and treasured every moment she spent with them. She also enjoyed being with her friends and family, and her love of music and her vibrant personality made her a joy to be around.
Amanda is survived by her two sons, Matthew Travis and his fiancée Alexis Thurston, and Brenden Blade and his fiancée Brooke Rooker; her beloved grandchildren, Hudson, Hailie, and Zayden, with one more precious grandchild soon to arrive; her mother, Pamela Travis; her sister, Gwen Travis; and her nephews, Devin and Drake. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Travis, and her grandparents, Marlin and Adeline Travis.
Amanda will be remembered for her love, her laughter, and the light she brought to the lives of all who knew her.
Cremation will take place, and the family is planning a celebration of Amanda's life in the coming months.
