Amanda Jean White, age 43, of Neosho, Missouri, a cherished wife, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly due to a sudden illness on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri. She entered this life on October 21, 1980, in Neosho, Missouri, born to the union of Bill and Sherry (Payton) Gratton.
A lifelong resident of Neosho, Missouri, Amanda was a graduate of Neosho High School, class of 1999. She dedicated many years to serving others with a smile in customer service roles at Walmart, Teleperformance, and Mercy Hospital.
On February 28, 2004, Amanda married her soulmate, Dusty White. Their union was a testament to devotion and companionship, and together they built a life full of joy and shared interests. Amanda's love for her family was immense, and she took great pleasure in the simple moments spent with her husband, whether it was enjoying a good meal or watching reruns of her favorite TV series, "Friends." Amanda also had a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs, who were her constant companions and brought her immeasurable joy. Her love for animals was a beautiful reflection of her compassionate soul.
She is survived by her husband of twenty years, Dusty White of the home; her parents, Bill and Sherry Gratton of Neosho, Missouri; a brother, Alan and Nicole Gratton of Wisconsin; as well as a host of other family and friends. She had the rare gift of making each person feel valued and loved, and her legacy of kindness will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
