Amber Lynn Amdahl, daughter of Timothy (Rosalee) Amdahl and Juanita Amdahl, was born on March 7, 1991 in Estherville, Iowa. She passed away at her home in Spirit Lake, Iowa on September 1, 2025 at the age of 34.
Amber was raised in Illinois and graduated from Robinson High School. Following graduation Amber was married, in 2012 she became a mom to Mason Alexander. Amber moved to Iowa in 2014, being closer to her mom. Amber was currently working at A&W in Spirit Lake.
Amber was crafty in nature; she enjoyed painting, diamond painting, and crocheting. Music was a major part of Amber's life, she enjoyed singing and going to concerts. Most important to Amber was her family and spending time with them. Amber will be remembered by most people as a social and giving person.
Amber is survived by her son Mason Amdahl; her parents Timothy (Rosalee) Amdahl and Juanita Amdahl; her siblings Jason (Cindy) Hall, Katie Amdahl, Dakota Amdahl, Austin Sidles, Savanah Amdahl, and Jocelyn VanRees; her niece Winsleigh Evans; and her nephews Kayden Anderson, Jordan Hall, and Donovan Spittler. She is also survived by her grandpa Gilbert Amdahl, grandma Donna Kunz, her uncles and aunts: Dan (Joyce) Amdahl, Mike (Hermelinda) Amdahl, Tom (Margie DeBosque) Amdahl, Amanda Kunz, Angela (Steve) Dehner, and Jeneen Kunz.
Amber is preceded in death by her grandma Bonnie Amdahl and grandpa Alvin Kunz.
