Amber Nicole Baca received her Angel Wings January 5, 2026. Amber was born April 7, 1986, to Carmen and Daniel in Farmington, NM.
Amber loved life and lived it to the very end with Joy, Love, Faith, Hope, Peace, Charity, and Patience. Amber lived most of her life in Blanco, NM. She attended school in the Bloomfield School District, continuing onto San Juan College completed two Associate Degrees and then to the University of New Mexico for a Bachelors of Elementay Education. Amber's Tata, Robert Baca, one time told her she had all her life to go to school, and she lived it to the fullest never faltering.
Amber loved doing many things, especially with family and friends. She was always ready and willing to get together to play games, watch football, and baseball games, always cheering for her Buffalo Bills and giving her TiTi a hard time for being a Die Hard Raider's fan. She loved camping, watching many movies, all kinds of puzzles, especially the hard plastic figurines. LEGOS were Amber's passion making numerous ones and never taking them apart. Nana's house is a Lego and puzzle museum. Amber was very artistic. She loved drawing of all kinds but especially when her little nephew Jasper came into her life they would draw many pictures, playing board games of all kinds especially with her cousin Kieran, Singo, at Clancy's with a special memory with her cousin Sabastian. There is not enough paper to tell you Amber's journey here on earth. Everyone that knew Amber knows she lived life to the fullest even with all she went through with her illness.
Amber is proceeded in death by her Tata Robert Baca, Nana Great Della Chavez, and her cousin Robert Baca who was her big younger brother.
She is survived by her parents Carmen and Daniel, Nana Patricia, brothers Daniel Jr., Josue and Alexis Tarango. Aunties and Uncles Lori (Titi), Larry and Nora, Geri and Wayne, Dick and Fran, Leroy and Cathy, Michelle and Jorge, Socorro, Pilo and Jeno, Alfonso and Alpha, Emilio and Martha. Cousins that are more than cousins Alex, Shane, Perla, Cherie, Ryan, Kieran, Sabastian, Aubrianna, Brooke, Angelica, Lilyanna, Cruzito, Joseph (JoJo), Nevaeh, Layla, Sarah, Cara, Monica, Amanda, Jason, Cruzita, Isaac, Amy, Morima, Cesar, Diana, Edith, Antonio, Daisy, Evelyn, Karina, Magdalena, Isaac, Roberto, Karla, Isaac, Delayza, Hunter, Tyra, Jasper, Kodi Rae, Alissa, Statler and too numerous loved ones to mention.
A visitation will be held at 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Rosary at 6:00 PM on Sunday January 11, 2026, at Saint Mary's Catholic Church.
A Rosary will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday January 12, 2026, at Saint Mary's Catholic Church. Following a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held at 12:30 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery. Immediately after burial a reception will take place at Saint Mary's Catholic Church.
Pallbearers are Alex Baca, Tony Aguirre, Joseph Garcia, Shane Gonzales, Ryan Gonzales, Wayne Velasquez Jr.
