Amber Monique Logan
Amber was born to Troy Logan and Tonia Morrow on November 27, 1990. Amber was a happy and adventurous baby. She loved walking around and exploring her surroundings. She was called "Baby girl" by her mom since she was the only girl. Amber loved to dance and enjoyed ballet classes. She loved putting on makeup and being every bit a young lady, but she was not opposed to being a tomboy and rough-housing with her three brothers.
Amber was fun-loving and kindhearted. She loved her family, friends, and liked to help others. Amber had a quick wit and loved to laugh. She would often joke and have everyone laughing at the simplest things.
Amber attended Richland Southern Baptist Church in
East Peoria, IL where she learned about Jesus in Sunday school. At age 8, Amber accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a Winter Jam Christian concert and was later baptized.
Amber attended Woodruff High School and became very independent and outgoing. During her teen and young adult years, Amber met lifelong friends who shared her interest in dressing up, putting on makeup, and her sense of adventure. These true friends would stand by Amber throughout her life in good and bad times.
Amber loved change. She would often change her hair color because she wanted to be different and stand out. She loved to work and often changed jobs if it was not enjoyable and fulfilling.
In the fall of 2021, Amber wanted a fresh start in life to improve herself and accepted an opportunity to move to
Tucson, Arizona. Amber achieved her goals there and loved working at a resort, but she eventually became homesick and was excited to move back home close to family. On November 2, 2023, a week before going home, the Lord brought his angel home to be with him when Amber succumbed to an unknown hereditary heart disease in her sleep.
Amber is survived by her parents, Tonia (Michael) Dolan of Peoria, IL; father, Troy Logan of Las Vegas, NV; three brothers, Troy Logan and Steven Dolan of Peoria, IL, and stepbrother, Brian (Julia) Dolan of
