Our beloved Amber Rich Parker, mother, daughter, and sister at the age of 41, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from a tragic accident in her home. She was born on March 7, 1984, in Ogden, Utah to H. Boyd Ashton & Linda Walker. At a very early age Amber became part of the Rich family who was excited to take her in as one of their own through adoption and was sealed to them as a forever family in the Ogden, Utah Temple.
Amber grew up in Roy & West Haven Utah. She was a proud graduate of Fremont High School, where her journey of learning and growth began. After high school she dedicated 17 years of her professional life as an administrative assistant at Fleet Truck Sales, showcasing her diligence and commitment.
On July 18, 2002, Amber and Kevin Parker were married and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple, marking a cherished chapter in her life. Together, they were blessed with two wonderful children, Kade and Brynn Parker, who became the heart and soul of Amber's world.
Amber was outgoing, full of life, and impossible to forget, she had a presence that filled every room she entered. She had a mischievous spirit and playful heart, always ready to tease, tickle, or scare someone just to see them smile. Amber had a contagious laugh and wasn’t afraid of living out loud. She enjoyed her dogs, camping, boating, fishing, riding ATVs, and anything outdoors with the ones she loved. She was always ready for a new adventure or vacation. Above all, Amber was a mother. She adored her two children beyond words; they were the center of her world and her greatest pride. She was their most fierce protector and loudest cheerleader at every moment. Her love was a constant, unwavering force in their lives.
Amber is survived by her children, Kade and Brynn Parker; mother, Shelba Rich; brother, Bart (Heather) Rich of Herriman, Utah; sisters, Tammy (Jeff) Petersen, Nicole (Terry) Scadlock, Angela Ferrin (Troy Green), Heather (Paul) Albert, all from West Haven, Utah; in-laws, David and Christi Parker; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Amber was reunited with her father, Richard W Rich; biological father, Harvey Boyd Ashton; her beloved Grandparents, Harvey Willis Ashton and Isabell Roderick Ashton, Arlow Rich, Jack and Irene Holland; Brother-in-Law, C. Seth Ferrin; Niece, Brittany Scadlock.
The family wishes to thank Kevin for his continued support, although they recently choose different paths, they still had care & love for one another.
