Seneca, SC - Amos Clifton Evans Jr., 67, of Seneca, South Carolina, passed away on October 23, 2025, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Seneca on January 26, 1958, he was the son of the late Amos Clifton Evans Sr. and Hazel Campbell Evans. Amos worked as an electrician and was known for his strong work ethic, caring heart, and devotion to his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and took great pride in his grandchildren.
He is survived by his partner, Phyllis Walters; daughters, Lauren Green (fiancé Donnie Pennington) of Seneca, Nancy Crystal Barnhill of California; brothers, Wayne Evans of Six Mile and Stephen Evans of Greer; sister, Rachel Goss of Central; four grandchildren, Blake Couvillon, Emily Green, Destiny Green and Rory Barnhill; and one great-granddaughter, Helenea King.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
At Amos' request, no service will be held at this time.
