Amy Walls Luck, 47, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday at 4:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:45 to 3:45 PM prior to the service.
Amy, daughter of Carlton and Teresa Walls, was born on January 28, 1977, in Pitt County. She grew up in Ayden and graduated from Ayden-Grifton High School in 1994. She attended Pitt Community College and worked in Early Childhood Development and in the Medical field most of her adult life. Amy enjoyed hosting themed parties, especially Halloween. She also enjoyed family vacations, the cinema, and was an avid WWE fan. She loved cats and rescued many over the years. Amy attended Calvary Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church from a child where she volunteered in the nursery and also participated in various programs. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Plum and Thelma Walls and Roland (R.B.) and Frances Harrington.
She is survived by her children, Derrik Jackson, Jordan Luck, and Bethany Luck; husband, Charles Robert Luck; parents, Carlton and Teresa Walls; brother, Jason Walls and wife, Bonnie, of Raleigh; niece, Melody Walls; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
