CASTORLAND – Amy K Widrick earned her angel wings on August 30, 2024 when she passed away sitting in her favorite spot in her home.
She is survived by her 5 siblings: Linda (Keith) Gnagey of Harrisonburg, VA; Randy (Janet) Widrick of Glassboro, NJ; Susan (Jeff) Bush of Lowville; Nancy (Peter) Lind of Seattle, WA; Joyce (Steve) Grau of Castorland, 13 nieces and nephews and 23 great nieces and nephews.
Amy is also survived by her friends who treated her as family in her residential home on Route 410 in Castorland where she lived.
She is predeceased by her father, Derwood Widrick who passed away on April 23, 2012 and her mother, Ruth Widrick who passed away on January 30, 2022.
Amy was born on November 29, 1963 at Lewis County General Hospital, a daughter to Derwood and Ruth Widrick, Beaver Falls.
Amy was a special child of God. She spent most of her life in an assisted living home where she spent the last several years.
You could always find Amy sitting in her chair, playing with her toys in her favorite spot in the kitchen where she resided.
There will be no funeral service and a private burial will be held at the convenience of her family.
Her family would like to thank those that cared for her at her home.
