Ana P Silva
Born: 5/22/1929
Passing: 8/23/2023
Couto de Ervededo, Chaves, Portugal
Ana was born in Couto de Ervededo where she met and fell in love with her husband Manuel. She raised 3 children, Fernando, Ana Maria, and Alberto while she farmed and raised cows, pigs, chickens, and rabbits and enjoyed making bread for her family while her husband immigrated to France in order to give his family a better life. Ana and Manuel came to the United States in 1973 and lived in New Jersey until she and her husband Manuel moved back to their hometown of Couto in 1984. Not too long after her husband Manuel passed in 1994 Ana moved back to New Jersey to reside between her 3 children until later in her life when she lived with Alberto & Maria Silva and their family for several years up to the time of her passing after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Ana adored her husband and never stopped remembering him and missing him terribly and did all she could for him until his passing due to his heart condition. She also said she loved all her children equally and would do anything for all of them. She enjoyed planting and growing vegetables. She loved to sing and spend time with her family, enjoyed times spent with her grandchildren, and even spent time with great-grandchildren, which was a blessing.
Ana is preceded in death by her parents: Domingos Carvalho and Rosa Pereira, her husband Manuel Coutinho Silva, and her siblings: Gracinda Oliveira, Antonio Carvalho, Fernando Carvalho, Abelina Fernandes, and Maria Carvalho.
Ana is survived by her sister Adelaide Carvalho, and her children: Fernando Silva (Lurdes), Ana Maria Peso (Roger), and Alberto Silva (Maria). Grandchildren: Danny Peso (Christine) Tina Loureiro (Sergio), Melissa Nunez (Manny), Jessica Greene (Landon), Kristopher Silva, Nicholas Silva, and Krystal Silva. Great Grandchildren: Emma and Liam Peso, Jake and Kaitlyn Loureiro, Cora, Selene, and Kolton Greene.
