Anastasios Tzaferis

Anastasios I. Tzaferis, resident of Attleboro, Massachusetts. He was born in Athens, Greece on March 24, 1963, passed away on December 29, 2025. Known for his ambitious spirit, Anastasios built a remarkable life that was marked by his dedication to his career, his love for his family and friends, and his keen interest in travel, cooking, and history. Anastasios was a humble man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including the exploration of diverse cuisines.

He was an esteemed graduate of Boston University College of Engineering, where he obtained his bachelor's degree in computer engineering. His dedication and commitment led him to serve in the United States Air Force for 32 years. He was stationed at Hanscom Air Force Base, and in several locations in Europe and the Middle East.

Anastasios is survived by his loved ones who will remember him as a loving and caring individual who was always reliable and courageous. He leaves behind, his cherished mother Eftehia Tzaferis; his beloved sister Fotini Tzaferis; his uncles; aunts; cousins; nieces; nephews and God children in both the United States and Greece.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Tzaferis.

The visitation service will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts.

A visitation period will be held on Wednesday, January, 7, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the Funeral service at Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott Street, Pawtucket, RI

Greek Orthodox service will be conducted on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott Street, Pawtucket, RI. Burial will take place in the Walnut Hill Cemetery, 200 Armistice Blvd, Pawtucket following church services.

All services are under the care of Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services.
