Andre R. Thurman was born on February 28, 1976, in Columbus, Ohio and gained his wings on November 18, 2022. Andre Graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1994, Columbus State Community College in 1998 and Franklin University in 2002. He embraced life with a loving spirit and had a joy and devotion to family and friends that was unmatched. He was an avid sports fan, loved traveling and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Andre was a devoted Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend and never hesitated to give of himself when called upon. Andre is preceded in death by his Grandfather and Grandmother Thomas Thurman and Lela Thurman; His Parents Roosevelt Thurman and Beverly Thurman; His Brother Anthony Thurman; Special Aunt Emma Payne; Cousin Rashaun Thurman and most recently his beloved Nephew Sir Carrington L Melton, II.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory His five beloved Children, Christopher Orr, Kaleb Wilson, Cameron Ellis, Chase Ellis and Zaya Harding; Granddaughter Kehlani Orr; Sisters Angela Boyd (Joe) and Latonya Palmer, Uncle Charles Thurman; Aunt Lena Brown and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. His presence, smile and spirit will be forever missed.

My condolences and prayers to the family. Andre was very sweet and had an infectious smile when we were growing up in high school. He will be missed but his legacy and his love for people will be remembered always.
