Andrea Bricco, 57, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born on October 13, 1968, in Denver, Colorado, to Gordon and Kathy (Hawkins) Bricco.
Andrea worked as a scheduler for Baxter Regional Medical Center, where she was known for her dedication, warmth, and strong work ethic. She was united in marriage to Ronald Johnson, Jr. on January 17, 1997, in Denver, Colorado. Ron was her best friend for over forty years, and their bond was one of deep love and enduring friendship.
Andrea adored her dachshunds and was known for being an exceptional cook and a true foodie. She had a passion for exploring different spices and seasonings and enjoyed sharing her culinary creations with those she loved. As the matriarch of her family, she cherished every moment spent with them and was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Johnson, Jr. of Salem, Arkansas; her son, Ronald Wayne Johnson III (Staci) of Greenbrier, Arkansas; and three grandchildren, Evan Johnson of Arvada, Colorado, Keelan High of Greenbrier, Arkansas, and Everlyss Johnson of Greenbrier, Arkansas. She is also survived by her parents, Gordon Bricco of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, and Kathy Bricco of Aurora, Colorado; and her sister, Gabriella “Bab” Bricco of Aurora, Colorado.
Andrea was preceded in death by her sister, Sabrina Bricco.
Memorials may be made to the animal rescue center of your choice in honor of Andrea’s love for animals. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
Andrea will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, and the love she poured into her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
