Maxwell Adrian Ward, 36, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away on November 12, 2025, in Salem, Arkansas. He was born on August 21, 1989, in Garden Grove, California, to Brock Thomas and Charmaine Jean (Barton) Ward.
Maxwell worked as a Radio Frequency Communications Technician and was of the Christian faith. He was known for his charismatic personality, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor that could light up any room. Maxwell was a talented musician who had a deep love for music. He enjoyed surfing, evenings around bonfires, and spending time with his family. One of his favorite sayings was “stay gold,” a reflection of his positive and free-spirited outlook on life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ceire Ward of Salem, Arkansas; his cherished son, Kingston Ward of Salem, Arkansas; his mother, Charmaine Barton of Salem, Arkansas; his father, Brock Ward (Cathy) of Bend, Oregon; brother, Gunnar Ward of Salem, Arkansas; sister, Chloe Bennett (Matt) of Newport, Arkansas; grandmother, Jean Barton of Gunnison, Utah; and niece, Charlie Ledesma of Newport, Arkansas. He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Chuck Barton, and his grandparents, Tommy and Patricia Ward.
Maxwell will be remembered for his humor, creativity, and deep love for his family. His memory will live on through the laughter, music, and joy he shared with all who knew him.
No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
