Andrea Bulkley

Andrea Jensen Bulkley, age 57, passed away on January 7, 2026, in Pleasant Grove, Utah, after a courageous nearly five-year battle with breast cancer.

Andrea was born in Mesa, Arizona, to Jay E. Jensen and Lona Lee C. Jensen, and was raised in Orem, Utah, where she attended Mountain View High School. She later built a life centered on faith, family, and service-values that defined who she was to all who knew her.

Andrea was the beloved wife of Daniel Aaron Bulkley, with whom she shared 33 years of marriage. Together they raised a family that was the heart of Andrea's life. She is survived by her children: Tyler Bulkley (Skye), Rhett Bulkley (Melanie), Kylee Lish (Chris), Connor Bulkley (Zoe), and Spencer Bulkley (Maddison), as well as her stepdaughter, Nicole DiRegolo. Andrea was a devoted grandmother to 12 grandchildren, with one more on the way, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy.

Andrea devoted much of her life to being a homemaker and mother, a role she embraced with love, patience, and selflessness. Later in life, she worked as a Financial Secretary at Canyon View Junior High in Orem, Utah, where she was known for her kindness, reliability, and quiet strength.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Andrea served in many callings throughout her life and lived her faith through service and compassion. She loved attending the temple-what she referred to as the House of the Lord-and cherished the accomplishment of visiting every temple in the state of Utah, along with many others beyond.

Andrea was known for her gentle, nonjudgmental spirit and her willingness to help anyone in need. She would drop everything to serve others, often caring for children without hesitation. Time spent with her grandchildren was among her greatest joys.

She had a passion for travel, especially trips to San Clemente State Beach in California, as well as visits to St. George, Utah, and meaningful travels with her sons, Tyler and Rhett, and with her siblings later in life. Andrea also loved quilting and deeply valued the friendships and fellowship found in her weekly quilting group and neighborhood book club. She dearly loved her long-term friends from her single years and those she made at WordPerfect Corporation, Novell Inc., Deerfield Elementary, and Canyon View Junior High, friendships that remained an important part of her life.

In her final words, Andrea bore testimony of her faith, saying, "The Lord is merciful." Her love for the Savior and trust in God never wavered.

Andrea's life revolved around her family-her husband, children, grandchildren, parents, brothers, and sisters-many of whom were with her in her final moments. She was a fighter who never gave up and taught her children to do the same.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Manila Creek Fourth Ward Chapel, 1320 West 3540 North, Pleasant Grove, Utah 84062. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing prior to the service on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah 84062. Interment will follow the funeral service in the Orem City Cemetery.
