Peter Samuel Bulkley

Warren - It is with great sadness to share the unexpected death of Peter S. Bulkley, who passed away on January 21, 2026, at his home in Warren, Ohio.

He was born April 3, 1962, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Robert Ellsworth and Blanche Agler Bulkley. Peter was a graduate of Liberty high School, Class of 1980, and earned his bachelor's degree from Ithaca College.

He lived and worked in Washington, D.C., before returning to the Youngstown area, where he opened and managed Manhattan Bagel with his brother, David. A devoted family man, Peter cherished time with his loved ones, especially family vacations at Chautauqua Lake.

He will be remembered for his kindness, compassion, and generous heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Blanche Bulkley; his brother, Robert Bulkley, Jr.; his nephew, Christopher Bulkley; his long-term partner, Karen Cunningham; and Nannie Mae Jacks.

He is survived by his brother, David Bulkley of Youngstown, OH; his sister, Josphine Bulkley of Bethesda, MD; his cousins, Ben and Tom Rice; nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Bacchus.

Private services will be held. Contributions in his memory can be made to the Robert Bulkley Memorial Scholarship Fund through the Youngstown State University Foundation.
