Andrew Thomas Caldwell

Andrew Thomas Caldwell, age 30, of Verona, PA, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025 after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. Andrew leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and loyalty for those he held dear. Known by those closest to him as the steadfast guardian of his family, Andrew was a man who lived with purpose, heart, independence, conviction and determination. Andrew enjoyed helping people, spending time with friends and family, working at Giant Eagle Market District in Fox Chapel, going to concerts of his favorite band Pierce The Veil, video gaming, and photography.
Andrew is survived by his devoted father, Thomas "Pops" Caldwell, aunts, uncles, and friends who loved him dearly, and a close-knit circle of cousins who meant the world to him: Christopher, Nicky, Michael, Armand Jr., Isabela, Isaac, Sivvy, Beda Lane, Waylon, and Ruby.
Andrew's strength, thoughtfulness, and sense of humor throughout his life, and his unwavering dedication to those he loved will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. Though he will be greatly missed, he will live on in the many great memories he made with us, the hearts he touched, and the family he so fiercely loved and protected.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at D'Alessandro Funeral Home & Crematory Ltd; 4522 Butler Street Pittsburgh, PA, 15201. Funeral service will be on Monday, June 9, 2025 at 11:00 am, at the funeral home. His burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
