The family of Andrew D. Chartier II, age 30, are deeply saddened to share that he has passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, due to an accident, but they rejoice that he is now safe and sound with his Lord. Andrew was born on April 9, 1994, to Andrew Chartier and Amy (Gremler) Drehmel in Wausau, WI. He graduated from Wausau West High School.

He enjoyed helping others and did various jobs, including working at Crystal Finishing in Wausau and cleaning at Hillside church. Andrew was a proud graduate of MN Adult and Teen Challenge, where the Lord transformed his life. His relationship with the Lord was very important to him, and he had a kind, thoughtful, honest heart. Andrew looked forward to the time he spent with his kids, whom he loved dearly. Andrew fellowshipped at Hillside church in Merrill and loved to attend Bible study as much and as often as possible and frequented many local churches throughout the week to do so. Andrew also had a funny, witty side to him and was even a bit mischievous! He was always positive and loved to help those in need. His family remembers Andrew as being playful, intelligent, and having dreams for the future. His love and exuberance will live on in his children and his family.

Andrew leaves behind his beloved children: Skylah Jeanne Marie Spaude and Bren Julius Spaude, dad: Andrew (Rebekah) Chartier, mom: Amy (Kevin) Drehmel, grandparents: Jeanne Brock, Randy Chartier, Lisa Zulli and Steve Gremler, siblings: Stephanie Delaney, Peter, Hallel, Isaiah and Shalom Chartier, McKenzie (Mitchell) Cole, Allison (Cristian) Olarte, Alexis, Kevoun, Kennedy and Ellyyana Drehmel, Step-grandparents: Doug and Carol Owens, Dennis and Mary Schmitz, John and Peggy Drehmel along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather: Michael Brock and uncle: Michael Schmitz.

The funeral service for Andrew will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Hillside Church in Merrill. Pastor Brandon Wade will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the service, also at the church. Burial will take place at a later date.

For those unable to attend, the service will be recorded and available for future viewing under his obituary on the funeral home website.

The family wishes to thank Pastor Brandon Wade for his support, guidance and friendship that he had shown to Andrew and MN Adult and Teen Challenge for the help and support that Andrew received while there.
