Taylor-Stine-Waid Funeral & Cremation - Third StreetLyle D. Woller, 56, of Schofield, passed away August 14, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center – Weston after a brief illness.
Lyle was born September 24, 1968, in Merrill, son of Laverne and Donna (Beste) Woller. He graduated from Wausau West High School with the class of 1987 and graduated from N.T.C. with a degree in police science. Lyle was a socialite and enjoyed his job as a bartender. He had worked at various establishments in the Wausau area. Lyle enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers and rarely missed watching a game. Lyle also enjoyed golf outings and spending time at country music festivals.
Survivors include his sister, Penny (Thomas May) Zoellner-May of Gleason; and brothers, Kim (Debra) Woller of Wausau, Tom (Linda) Woller of Rothschild, Scott (Carrie) Woller of Hatley, and Mark (Sally) Woller of Merrill; and many nieces and nephews. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, Laverne and Donna Woller; sister, Leigh Ann Woller; brother, Brian Woller; brother and sister-in-law, Philip (Nancy Hagedorn-Woller) Woller; and brother-in-law, Lee Zoellner.
The memorial service for Lyle will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at St. Stephens United Church of Christ, Merrill. Rev. Michael Southcombe will officiate. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 A.M. that day at church.
