Andrew Cook Obituary
Andrew was a strong Christian who loved his Lord. He currently was a senior at Franklin Academy High School in Wake Forest, NC. Andrew loved to be in the water and was a year-round swimmer for club and neighborhood teams in the Wake County area. In his spare time, he enjoyed lifting weights and spending time with family and friends.
Those left to cherish Andrew's memory are his parents, Matthew and Meredith Cook; his sister Elizabeth Cook; his grandparents Gerald and Vickie Cook and Maurice and Carolyn King; his uncle, aunt and cousins, Adam, Amy, Molly Belle, Chloe Cook, John, Mandy, Caroline and Sally Wilsey and many friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, 11am at Bay Leaf Baptist Church, 12200 Bayleaf Church Rd, Raleigh, NC. The family will receive family and friends after the service in the church's fellowship hall.
We are thankful to our heavenly Father for blessing us with Andrew. He is so much more in a son than we could ever have dreamed of; his light, his spirit, his incredible passion for everything in life. We are thankful for our family and the love they give us daily. We are thankful for the many people in Andrew's life: church, friends, teammates, and neighbors. Finally, we are thankful for the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ. Our ultimate gratitude is in the love, grace, and salvation He has given us through His death on the cross.
The family is requesting no flowers be sent. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the "Youth Thailand Mission Trip Fund" at Bay Leaf Baptist Church in memory of Andrew.
