In Loving Memory of Andrew Edward "Eddie" Davault Jr. April 13, 1952 - March 16, 2025. With heavy hearts and grateful spirits, we celebrate the life of Eddie Davault, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 72.
Eddie was born in Memphis, TN, and moved to Arizona soon after marrying his beloved wife of 53 years, Brenda (nee Joyner). He began his career selling cars in the lot of a dealership and rose through the ranks to become the CEO of one of the largest auto dealer groups in North America. Throughout his career, Eddie was known for his uncanny business sense, unwavering commitment, wicked sense of humor, and deep humanity.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Eddie was an avid outdoorsman. Sports fishing and hunting were his passions. His biggest smiles could be seen when he was wrangling a big billfish into the boat.
But Eddie's greatest dedication was always to his family. He is survived by his treasured wife, Brenda; children Andrew "Drew" lll and Dina Davault, and Alisa and Neil Maltby; grandchildren Brittany, Andrew lV, and Mason; and his brother and wife Ted and Sheryl Davault. He leaves behind a vast network of friends, colleagues, and admirers who will forever cherish his wisdom, humor and love.
A celebration of Eddie's life will be held on Saturday 3/29/2025 at 11:00am. We will gather at Shephard of the Desert Church located at 9590 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale AZ 85260 to share stories and honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Southwest Autism Resource and Research Center, SARRC, https://autismcenter.org/donate/ in his honor. As we say goodbye, we take comfort in knowing that Eddie's spirit will live on in the love he gave so many.
