Mr. Andrew "Tootie" Fielder, Jr.

In the beginning, Andrew "Tootie" Fielder was born November 3, 1961 in Newton, MS to loving parents, Deacon Andrew and Sister Mattie Fielder.

Andrew, as a baby came to Joliet, IL, where he lived most of his life. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary School, Dirksen Junior High and Joliet West High School, where he excelled in academics and sports, mainly football. In his Sophomore year, he was voted the 'most valuable player' on the team.

Andrew was a Christian man that read his Bible and Devotionals daily. He attended Second Baptist Church as a youth. He was a giving young man, dedicated to helping others. He gave volunteer services to several charities and organizations in the Joliet area. He will be remembered for his services to the Joliet community.

Andrew was a chef for several years in Joliet, and was known for cooking delicious food for family and friends. He enjoyed many events that involved cooking. Andrew was employed at the Menards Warehouse in the Joliet area.

Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Deacon Andrew Fielder; brother, James Fielder; paternal grandparents, Estell and Mattie Fielder. Andrew leaves in God's care, his loving mother, Mattie Fielder; sister, Jerye; brother, Perry (Rae Lynn) and uncle, Curtis Fielder; aunts, Edna Bell and Barbara Fielder; lifelong friends, Pat Jones, Mark Davis and John Lennon; special cousin, Danny Croff, and many other relatives and friends also survive.
