In Loving Memory of Andrew Sun Jung Sunrise: March 25, 1982 - Sunset: June 16, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, husband, uncle, son and friend, Andrew Sun Jung, who departed this life at the age of 43.
Born with a kind spirit and a beautiful mind, Andrew graduated with a degree in Theology, a field that reflected his deep devotion to his Catholic faith. His life was guided by a quiet strength, unwavering belief, and a heart full of compassion and humility.
He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Kerry Hrisak, with whom he shared a bond built on faith, laughter, and love. Though they had no children of their own, Andrew poured his heart into the lives of his niece and nephews, who adored their gentle, funny, and endlessly patient uncle.
A true lover of technology, Andrew found joy and excitement in computers, video games, books and movies. Whether he was exploring a new game, sharing his latest favorite film, or adventuring table top games with his friends, he did so with infectious enthusiasm. His loyal dog, Friday, rarely left his side and was his cherished companion.
Andrew will be remembered for his generous heart, undeniable selflessness and dedication to those he loved. His faith sustained him and uplifted those around him, and his memory will live on in the stories we share, the laughs we remember, and the lives he touched.
He is survived by his wife Kerry, his siblings Michael and Richard, his cherished niece, Nora and nephews, Matthew and Christian, his parents, Hyo-Nam Jung and Ok-Seon Jung, and many extended family members and friends. We take comfort knowing he is now at peace in the presence of our Lord.
