Shortly after graduating from Turlock High School, Andrew joined the United States Postal Service where he proudly worked as a city carrier for the last 18 years. His co-workers were like a second family to him.
Andrew worked hard and played hard. His zest for living each day to the absolute fullest was evident. His smile was infectious and his energy was contagious. He always had a sparkle in his eye and in his heart. He truly cherished spending time with his family and a wide variety of friends, motorcycle riding, golf, snowboarding, and traveling. While he excelled in so many different roles, being a dog dad to Sissy was the highlight of them all. He loved that little girl like no other.
Andrew is survived by his father, Richard Lopez, mother, Dina Ericksen, brother, Marcus Lopez, his beloved dog Sissy, grandparents, Jim Ericksen, Dolores Lopez, and Alison and Gary Wolz, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard Lopez and Dora Ericksen.
Andrew was an amazing young man and he will be deeply missed. Although he can no longer be with us here, he will live on in our hearts and memories until we meet again. Andrew did have a personal relationship with God and knew the Lord, Jesus Christ, as his savior. Our family would like to thank everyone for their support and kindness during this incredibly heartbreaking time.
A funeral service will be held at Turlock Memorial Park and Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the main chapel.

I didn´t know Andrew well, nor have I seen him in years. But we went to school together for a short time in Turlock. I´m deeply saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to his friends and family.

Our Condolences to the Lopez Family. My son and Andrew started kindergarten together and they became good friends. Andrew along with other friends would be at our house on the week ends, sleeping on the trampoline and acting out their favorite wrestling moves. I´m so glad I have these memories to cherish. Not long ago got to see him when he was delivering our mail...always that beautiful smile. Schwarberg Family

We didn´t know Andrew personally but we know his brother Marcus and mother Dina. My Daughter Natalie, went to school with Marcus and we´re close friends and still are. I remember Marcus talking about his brother many times and seeing him at Marcus´s sporting events. He sounds like a wonderful brother and son .
Our hearts go out to the family. May the lord give you peace that passes understanding . God bless you all.

Andrew was an amazing person and good friend for many years. He took a road trip to Vegas with us 2 years ago for my birthday and we had an absolute blast. His laugh and his energy was so contagious, he was just so much fun to be around. I live not far from him and when he would see that I posted yummy food on snap chat he would message me and ask for a plate he came over a few times for some of my delicious food. I will forever cherish all the beautiful memories we shared together. Andrew we love and miss you so much it´s so unreal, I feel like this is a horrible dream may your beautiful soul rest in peace buddy. Until we meet again
