Andrew “Coach” Marsh, 81, of Elyria, Ohio passed away on July 8, 2025. Born in Winchester, Massachusetts, he was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired designer at Bendix, with several patents in truck braking systems.
Andrew was a dedicated high school soccer coach for over 20 years and proudly served as the first coach of the Elyria Catholic High School women’s soccer team.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia; parents, Baxter and Alfreda; and several siblings. He is survived by his brother, Kenneth Marsh; children, Kathleen (Chad) Granlund, Christopher, and Jennifer Marsh; and grandchildren Ethan, Riley and Max.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the LUNGevity Foundation at www.lungevity.org.
